Movers and Cleaners in Gregoire Lake Estates, Alberta
Gregoire Lake Estates is a lakeside hamlet off Highway 881, south of Fort McMurray in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Noah Moving & Cleaning helps Gregoire Lake Estates households move homes, cabins and recreational gear, and cleans the property before or after the move, with a licensed and insured local crew.
Moving to or From Gregoire Lake Estates
Gregoire Lake Estates sits beside Gregoire Lake, close to Anzac and the provincial park. Homes here range from year-round family houses to lake properties that are used more in summer, and many lots have a garage, shed or boat storage as well as the house itself. The drive along Highway 881 also means timing and road conditions matter more than on an in-town move.
Before moving day we ask about the home and any outbuildings, the driveway and where the truck can park, and whether the move is to Fort McMurray, within the Wood Buffalo region or further across Alberta. That way we can send the right crew and equipment and plan a realistic schedule for the trip.
Moving and Cleaning Services for Gregoire Lake Estates
Book a full move or only the help you need:
- Residential moving: year-round homes and lake properties moved with furniture wrapped, loaded securely and placed in the right rooms.
- Furniture moving: beds, sofas, dining sets and patio furniture taken apart where needed and reassembled at the new home.
- Specialty item moving: heavy or valuable pieces such as safes, pianos and large appliances that need extra planning.
- Packing and unpacking: kitchens, closets and seasonal storage packed and labelled so the new home is quick to set up.
- Loading and unloading: extra hands for your own rental truck, trailer or storage unit.
- Long distance moving: moves from Gregoire Lake Estates to other Alberta cities by prior arrangement.
- Cleaning: move-out cleaning, move-in cleaning and deep cleaning for the home you are leaving or the one you are moving into.
Lake Homes, Cabins and Seasonal Gear
Lake properties tend to collect things that a city home does not. When you plan a Gregoire Lake Estates move, make a list of:
- Seasonal and recreational gear: paddleboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, life jackets and camping gear
- Patio and deck furniture, barbecues and fire-pit items
- What is in the garage, shed or boat storage, including tools and shelving
- Second sets of furniture or appliances if the property has been used as a cabin
- Items you plan to leave, sell or donate, so they do not take up truck space
Tell us early about anything large or unusual so we can confirm what we can move and plan enough space and crew. Boats, trailers and vehicles are not part of a household move, so arrange those separately. If you want leftover boxes and packing materials cleared away after the move, the Noah Easy Move package below covers that.
Planning the Drive on Highway 881
Most moves from Gregoire Lake Estates go north to Fort McMurray or on to other Alberta cities. A few planning points help the day run on schedule:
- Book early and stay flexible: giving us your preferred date and a back-up date makes it easier to plan around weather and road conditions.
- Winter moves: clear and sand driveways, steps and walkways at both homes. Our winter moving tips cover cold-weather packing and protecting floors.
- Prepare in stages: our guide on how to prepare for movers week by week helps you spread the packing out instead of leaving it to the last weekend.
- Moving into a condo or townhome in town: our condo and townhome movers plan around elevator bookings and building rules.
Our local movers in Fort McMurray handle the city end of the move, and we also serve nearby Anzac and Saprae Creek.

- Heavy or specialty items

Licensed and Insured Movers for Gregoire Lake Estates
Noah Moving & Cleaning is federally licensed in Canada and licensed by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alberta. We carry WCB coverage, cargo insurance, and liability insurance for moving and cleaning services.
On a highway move, how the truck is loaded matters as much as how it is driven. Our movers wrap furniture in moving blankets, protect floors and door frames at both homes, and secure heavy items so everything travels safely from the lake to your new address.
Cleaning Lake Homes and Moving Packages
Selling a lake property, handing back a rental or opening up a home that has been empty for a while? Our cleaning team can do a move-out clean of the home you are leaving, a move-in clean before your furniture arrives, or a deep clean when dust and grime have built up in kitchens, bathrooms and floors. We also offer residential cleaning for homes that are not moving.
When you need moving and cleaning together, our moving and cleaning packages combine them:
- Noah Complete Move — 25% off: moving plus move-out cleaning for your old home.
- Noah Fresh Start — 20% off: moving plus move-in cleaning or a deep clean of your new home.
- Noah Easy Move — 15% off: moving plus junk removal or removal of leftover packing materials.
